The KOICA Scholarship 2024 is crafted to empower key leaders in partner countries, enabling them to actively contribute to the socio-economic development of their respective nations. In 2024, KOICA is offering 20 master’s programs and 5 doctorate programs. Applications for the KOICA Scholarship 2024 are open now. Here is your chance to come and study in South Korea for free.

KOICA Scholarship 2024 Programs

1. Masters Degree Program = 17 months
2. Phd Degree Program = 36 months

KOICA Scholarship 2024 Admission Process

1. Submit application documents and receive government nomination.
2. Attend an on-site interview by KOICA Country Office (Korean Embassy) in your home country.
3. Undergo document screening by the university.
4. Complete local medical check-up and university interview (and/or test).
5. Arrive in Korea for orientation and medical check-up.
6. Begin the degree program.
7. Return to your home country.

Note: Each step proceeds for those who successfully pass the previous one.

How to Apply:

KOICA Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria

1. Nationality
   • Applicants must be from one of the eligible countries listed above.
2. Employee Status and Government Nomination
   • All applicants must be government officials and receive official nomination from their respective governments for the KOICA Scholarship program.
3. Age
   • (Preferably) Under the age of 40
4. Health
   • All applicants must be in good health, both mentally and physically, to study in Korea for the full duration of the program.
   • Applicants with disabilities, but in good mental and physical health, are eligible to apply.
   • Applicants with severe illness are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.
5. Minimum Level of Education and Field experience
   • Master’s Degree > Bachelor’s Degree & Minimum experience = (Preferably) 2 years
   • Doctor’s Degree > Master’s Degree & Minimum experience = (Preferably) 3 years after graduation from KOICA Master’s degree program
6. English Proficiency
   • Applicants must have a strong command of English, both in speaking and writing
